In 2025 I created kemento, a small design studio dedicated to creating functional objects and modern knick-knacks; pieces that feel both useful and emotionally charged. Inspired by the wunderkammer and the idea of the keepsake, kemento builds everyday tools with a sense of memory.

crafted to hold the unsaid, the destination case is a stainless steel vessel adorned with mother-of-pearl tiling and finished with wood and jade-inspired beads and a soft black tassel. designed to fit 100mm cigarettes, yet meant for more—business cards, handwritten notes, the small things we carry but never name.
each case is assembled by hand and made in limited quantity. meant to live inside your bag, on your altar, or passed between hands like a secret.

jane’s cap
lace cap adorned with floral engraved buttons and a kemento leather tag. inspired by the fabric of my grandmother’s wedding dress, which was sold and lost during transport.

divine’s eye bookmark
born from a personal peacock tattoo, this bookmark becomes both keepsake and symbol. in many asian cultures, the peacock has long been revered as an emblem of divinity; its feather another eye, a vision beyond the human, an opening into sacred sight.
cast entirely in brass, the bookmark carries a royal blue enamel front, where a raised feather unfurls in luminous gold. the reverse bears the kemento logo, debossed into the same blue; a quiet seal of memory. from its crown hangs a 6.5 inch gold chain, finished with a luminous faux pearl and a yellow tassel, balancing durability with ornament, ritual with play.
meant to slip between pages, the divine’s eye turns every book into an altar of discovery.
